WHO IS BLAKE

Born and raised in Fort Worth TX, WHO.B.LA.K.E was introduced to music by his uncle and godfather around the age of 8. From ages 12 to 16 he played the tenor saxophone in his high school marching band. In 2006 he was part of a rap group called DA CAMP who dropped a debut single that became popular locally in the DFW metroplex. In 2007 WHOBLAKE took a step back from music to pursue a degree and was reintroduced to music in 2016 under the advice of his cousin who is also a musician. In February 2019 he dropped his debut album METAL GEAR SOLID which he also produced, recorded, wrote, and performed. WHOBLAKE's inspiration ranges from Rap and R&B to Jazz and Classic rock. Artist such as Curren$y, Dom Kennedy, Wiz Khalifa, Nipsey Hussle, A Tribe Called Quest, Rexx Life Raj, Polyester, and Mase are the inspiration behind his subtly slick rap style. Enjoy yourself.
